Bulldog T.1 XX542 near Skipton on Swale.
On 16th November 1979 this Central Flying School aircraft took off from Leeming airfield and was being flown on a training flight when the pilots lost control while flying in turbulence. The aircraft was abandoned in the Skipton on Swale area and crashed nearby. Both pilots probably landed safely.
