On 11th September 1977 this aircraft damaged its propeller in a forced landing at Wheatlands Farm, Redcar. It was later taken to Leeds-Bradford airfield by road for repair.

The aircraft was registered to the Cleveland Flying School Ltd, and was based at Teesside airfield at the time of the incident.
