Beagle A.61 Terrier G-ASYN at Netherthorpe airfield.
On 2nd January 1976 this aircraft was blown over in a gale at Netherthorpe airfield. Unfortunately the gale also appears to have caused a fire in a caravan on the airfield and the aircraft struck the burning caravan. The aircraft was subsequently destroyed. It was registered to Messers Keith Barrington Holmes, John Charles Wakefield, Martyn Kenneth Paul Naylor and Howard James Walker, all of South Yorkshire. They probably based the aircraft at Netherthorpe.
