Slingsby T.61A Falke G-AYUN near Ripon.
Yorkshire Air News state that on 22nd October 1974 this powered glider, of "Doncaster and District Gliding Club", landed in a field next to the A61 near Ripon believed to have been due to engine trouble. It does not actually state whether it was damaged but purely a glider landing in a field may not have been be a newsworthy incident and listed in a paragraph listing aircraft that were damaged during the month.
Looking up the registation of this aircraft it was actually owned by Dr Dorothy Kilner Souper, of the Norfolk Gliding Club, at the time of this incident though could have flown from Doncaster.
