Unidentified helicopter at Driffield.
Yorkshire Air News recorded that on 9th May 1974 a helicopter, probably either a Gazelle or Sioux, landed in a field opposite the site of the East Riding General Hospital at Driffield when it ran low on fuel. Fuel was brought from Leconfield airfield and once filled the Helicopter resumed a flight north, stated to have been to Otterburn, Northumberland. It was probably an Army helicopter.
