Jet Provost T.4 XS216 damaged in the air, landed at Leeming airfield.
On 7th May 1973 this No.6 Flying Training School aircraft collided with Jet Provost XR647 near Dishforth airfield. XR647 crashed at Norton le Clay. No.6 Flying Training School were based at Finningley airfield and while the pilot of XS216 was able to regain control he subsequently landed at Leeming.
