Reims Cessna F.150J G-AWUV at Grindale airstrip.
On 18th January 1972 this aircraft was blown over in a gale whilst parked at Grindale airstrip. The aircraft was badly damaged.
It must have been at Grindale for use by the Grindale Sports and Parachute Centre at the time but the registration has a gap in it when this incident occurred. It was owned by Mr Richard Moy, of Guernsey until September 1971, it was then registered by Grindale Parachuting Ltd, at Grindale on 8th February 1972 but it was clearly at Grindale earlier than this.
