Piper PA-28-180 Cherokee G-ASFL at Grindale airstrip.

Almost certainly in January or February 1972 this aircraft was involved in a taxying accident at Grindale airstrip when it's nose collided with some concrete blocks. It required a new engine fitting. It was used by the Grindale Sports and Parachute Centre though was registered to Philip Christopher Hamer (of Welton, Brough) and Ronald Graham Neilson (of Old Ellerby, Hull) on 4th February 1972 though was probably owned by them when this incident occurred at Grindale.

Pilot - Name unknown.

Parachute jumping at Grindale began on 30th May 1971.
