Beagle A.61 Terrier G-AVCR near Dishforth.
On 13th November 1971 the propeller of this aircraft detached in flight near Dishforth whilst towing a glider, the pilot made a forced landing on or close to the airfield with no further damage being sustained.
Pilot - Name unknown.
On 17th November 1971 this aircraft was registered to The Royal Air Force Gliding and Soaring Association, based at RAF Bicester, but they clearly had it in their care before the registration went through.
