Unidentified Beechcraft Musketeer at High Flatts, Penistone.
During the afternoon of Tuesday, 23rd February 1971 this aircraft was being flown from Norwich to Manchester when it developed a problem with the radio. At dusk, the pilot made a precautionary landing at High Flatts, Huddersfield. No damage resulted. The two passengers the aircraft was carrying were picked up by a passing motorist and taken to Huddersfield to continue their journey by either rail or bus. The aircraft was flown out the following day.
