Rollason Druine D.62B Condor G-AWFP near Kippax.
On 26th May 1970 during a flight between Sherburn in Elmet and Doncaster this aircraft suffered some form of technical problem in the air. The pilot attempted a forced landing at Holme Farm, Kippax but it crashed through a fence and came to rest tipped onto it's nose.
Pilot - Name unknown.
The aircraft was registered to Mr Norman Herbert Jones, of Surrey but he owned dozens of aeroplanes and I suspect that he leased out them out. This one was probably leased to someone or a group at Doncaster airfield.
