On 22nd March 1970 this aircraft was attempting to take off from Doncaster to fly to Teesside when one of the undercarriage legs broke (probably while being retracted) and struck the propeller. The pilot flew around and landed but the aircraft was then further damaged.

The aircraft was owned by Mr John Leslie Povey and Mr Thomas Basil Dunn, both of Middlesbrough. They probably based the aircraft at Teesside airfield.
