Chipmunk T.10 WZ869 at Linton on Ouse airfield.
On 20th May 1968 the pilot of this No.1 Flying Training School aircraft was attempting to fly an overshoot at Linton on Ouse airfield when the engine failed to pick up speed. The pilot was left to then make a forced landing on or close to the airfield and it was badly damaged. The damage was not repaired and the aircraft was converted into Ground Instructional Airframe 8019M. As of 2008 the cockpit was at the South Wales Aviation Museum.
