Cobelavia Tipsy T.66 Nipper G-AVKT at Netherthorpe airfield.

On 12th November 1967 a fly-in was held at Netherthorpe airfield. G-AVKT came made a fast approach and then made a heavy landing on the port undercarriage. The aircraft bounced but then stalled and crashed down onto the runway hard which caused it to tip over on it's nose. The port wingtip was bent, the nosewheel, propeller and canopy were broken. The pilot appeared to have escaped injury.

The aircraft was owned by Mr John Alfred Booth, of Todwick, Sheffield.
