Cessna F.172H Skyhawk G-AVIC at Lindholme airfield.
On 5th April 1967 this aircraft was being flown to Leeds-Bradford airfield on a delivery flight to Northair when the pilot was forced to land at Lindholme airfield owing to a fuel shortage. The landing was carried out without incident but after landing a gust of wind caught the aircraft and caused it to overturn. It eventually arrived at Northair on 7th April, possibly by road.

The identity is given in Yorkshire Air News in 1967 as being G-AVIE. In 1978 Yorkshire Air News gave a rundown of all aircraft Northair had and they list the aeroplane that was damaged at Lindholme on 5th April 1967 as G-AVIC.
The aircraft was owned by Northair Aviation Ltd, of Leeds-Bradford airfield.
