Lightning F.2 XN783 at Leconfield airfield.
On 16th November 1965 this 92 Squadron aircraft suffered the nose undercarriage jam in the up position on the approach to land at Leconfield. The pilot delayed landing while foam was sprayed in the runway, he then went on to land on the main wheels but eventually the aircraft settled on the nose causing minor damage.
