Anson C.19 TX192 at Topcliffe airfield.
The Northern Communications Squadron record book (AIR27/3025) states that during the evening of 16th June 1965 this aircraft caught fire whilst being serviced at Topcliffe where the Northern Communications Squadron was based. An engine fitter Sgt Cecil Irwin RAF (645221) was commended for his actions in fighting the fire and preventing a more serious incident.
