Jet Provost T.4 XR698 at Leeming airfield.
With a pupil pilot at the controls during a training flight on 3rd January 1964 this No.3 Flying Training School stalled on the approach to practice a forced landing on the airfield at Leeming. The
instructor quickly took control but was unable to prevent the aircraft striking the ground on an old dispersal point. The undercarriage was left up and both airmen sustained injuries.
