Jet Provost T.4 XR661 at Church Fenton airfield.
On 8th December 1964 Jet Provost XR661 of No.7 Flying Training School had a Cat.3R damage assessment made against it. The unit was based at Church Fenton airfield at the time so the incident probably occurred there.

Jet Provost XR661 was built to contract KC/E/057 by BAC Ltd, at Luton and was awaiting collection on 29th March 1963. On 3rd April 1963 it was taken on charge by No 7 Flying Training School at
Church Fenton. It had a Cat.3R damage assessment made against it on 8th December 1964 but what occurred is not yet known. It was repaired on site and returned to No.7 F.T.S. charge. On 30th November 1966 it
went to 27 MU at Shawbury and on 10th May 1967 it was taken on charge by No.3 Flying Training School at Leeming. On 15th June 1967 it went to BAC Ltd. at Warton and subsequently sold to them on 30th August
1967. It was later converted to a T.52 and registered as "G-27-95" but was then sold to South Yemen Air Force where it was registered as "108".
