Vampire T.11 XK633 at Rufforth airfield.
On 10th July 1963 this No.1 Flying Training School aircraft veered off the runway at Rufforth airfield which caused the undercarriage to collapse. A fire developed and the aircraft was badly damaged. A defective starboard wheel cover was found to have been at fault.
