Unidentified Anson damaged in the air, landed at Dishforth airfield.
On an unknown date in October 1963 an Anson lost a metal leading edge on a propeller blade in flight. The aircraft was listed in the Dishforth orb as "the" Anson suggesting it was the only one at Dishforth at the time. This may have been part of No.23 Group Communications Flight that was based there.
