On 21st May 1963 this aircraft ran into a steel post on Yeadon airfield at what must have been some speed because the collision broke off one of the wings. At the time of this incident the aircraft was registered to Site Supply and Excavation Ltd, of Osbaldwick, York. Where they based the aircraft is not known.
