Javelin FAW.4 XA754 at Leconfield airfield.
On 27th October 1960 this 72 Squadron aircraft suffered the jet pipe split while the engine was being run up on the ground at Leconfield airfield. The excessive heat on the airframe caused major damage to it and the rear fuselage. As a result the aircraft was struck off charge.
