Javelin FAW.5 XA706 at Leeming airfield.
On 29th June 1960 this 228 Operational Conversion Unit aircraft suffered total electrical failure while flying in the circuit of Leeming airfield. The pilot made a forced landing either on the airfield or close to it but it sustained fairly major damage. The aircraft was not repaired but was converted into Ground Instructional Airframe 7649M.
