Unidentified Javelin at Leconfield airfield.
On 28th September 1960 an unidentified 72 Squadron Javelin underwent a pre-flight inspection which discovered a damaged starboard flap. The 72 Squadron record book makes very brief mention of this incident and this is currently the only record of the incident I have located. More information is required as to what actually happened to cause the damage.
