During a flight on 30th January 1958 this No.1 Flying Training School aircraft suffered an access panel come unfastened in the air and swing back. The pilot landed at Linton on Ouse airfield where the damage was inspected and some distortion and bending of the panel and frame was found as well as a puncture of the skin where it had struck after bending.
