On 24th February 1958 this No.1 Flying Training School aircraft was flown by an instructor with a pupil, after landing at Linton on Ouse airfield the pupil over-applied the brake which caused the aircraft to tip on to it's nose. Damage was only minor, after a propeller change and a check of the engine it was back in the air the following day.
