On 23rd August 1957 this 245 Squadron aircraft suffered the loss of the canopy during a pressurization test. Whether the test was in the air or on the ground at Leconfield airfield is not known but minor damage occurred. The aircraft was repaired and went to the Fighter Command Modification Centre at Driffield on 8th November 1957.
