On 14th May 1955 this 92 Squadron aircraft was being flown in heavy rain and during a ground controlled landing approach at Linton on Ouse airfield it stalled just above the runway, the port wing dropped and the undercarriage then broke when it hit the ground. The aircraft then skidded along the ground and came to rest beside the runway.
