On 20th April 1955 this No.8 Flying Training School aircraft struck runway lighting on landing at Driffield airfield. The brakes then failed and the aircraft over-ran into the overshoot area. It came to rest with minor damage. The spelling of the pilot's name given below is quoted from the unit record book, he was one of two Thai pilots at Driffield at the time for flying training.
