The aircraft is listed in No.60 Maintenance Unit's record book as being given a Re-Cat damage assessment in October 1954. At the time it was a 92 Squadron aircraft and was based at Linton on Ouse airfield. What caused the initial damage assessment to be made and when this occurred are not known.
