The aircraft is listed in No.60 Maintenance Unit's record book as being servicable at Linton on Ouse during July 1954. What caused the damage assessment to be made and when this occurred are not known. At the time this aircraft was on charge with 264 Squadron and was based at Linton on Ouse. Presumably the aircraft had a Cat.3 damage assessment made against it several months before this.
