On 2nd February 1954 a Cat.4R damage assessment was made against this aircraft. At the time the aircraft was on charge with No.207 Advanced Flying School and was based at Full Sutton. It was sent for a repair in works to Flight Refuelling Ltd at Tarrant Rushton the following month. What caused the damage assessment to be made is not yet known. The repair took until October 1954 for it to be made servicable.
