On 28th January 1954 a Cat.4 damage assessment was made against this aircraft. At the time the aircraft was on charge with No.207 Advanced Flying School and was based at Full Sutton. In March 1954 it was despatched to Flight Refuelling Ltd at Tarrant Rushton for a repair in works. What caused the damage assessment to be made is not yet known.
