This aircraft had a Cat.4R damage assessment made against it on 23rd September 1954. At the time it was on charge with No.8 Flying Training School and was based at Driffield. The assessment was probably made at Driffield. It is not clear whether this damage assessment relates to an assessment made after a flying or ground incident, or simply an assessment made during a routine inspection. It was transported to Flight Refuelling Ltd at Tarrant Rushton in October 1954 for a repair in works.
