This aircraft had a Cat.3R damage assessment recorded against it on 16th December 1954. The aircraft appears to have been on the books with No.8 Flying Training School which was based at Driffield airfield at the time but how the damage occurred is not yet known though it may not have been the result of a flying accident. It was later repaired. The incident is not mentioned in the unit record book.
