This aircraft had a Cat.3R damage assessment made against it on 30th September 1954 but how the damage occurred is not yet known and it may not have been teh result of a flying accident. It was a No.8 Flying Training School aircraft at the time and this unit was based at Driffield so presumably the damage occurred there. The damage was later repaired. The incident is not mentioned in the unit record book.
