On 5th February 1954 this No.205 Advanced Flying School aircraft was landed on two wheels at Neasham airfield after one of the undercarriage legs failed to lower properly. The unit was based at Middleton St.George but had the use of Neasham airfield as a relief landing ground, this was the airfield previously known as Croft. A Cat.3R damage assessment was made against the aircraft but later in the month this was upgraded to Re-Cat.4R and it was sent to AST Ltd at Hamble for a repair in works.
