This aircraft had a repairable Cat.3R damage assessment made against it on 30th August 1954 but how the damage occurred is not yet known and it may not have been the result of a flying accident. The aircraft was on the books with No.8 Flying Training School at the time who was based at Driffield which was presumably where the damage occurred. It was later repaired. The incident is not mentioned in the unit record book.
The 60 MU orb mentions that they made this aircraft servicable at Driffield in October 1954 so any incident probably occurred there.
