On 29th March 1954 the pilot of this 215 Advanced Flying School aircraft lost control during a flight and while the pilot eventually regained control, the aircraft struck tree tops and also a television aerial on a house roof. Where this damaged occurred is not known. The aircraft suffered damage to the nose wheel door, wings and the ventral tank but the pilot appears to have landed on an airfield, probably back at Finningley where the unit was based.
Pilot - P/O Alexander Douglas Galbraith RAF (2563839).
