On 12th April 1954 the pilot of this Central Gunnery School aircraft pulled out of a dive too sharply during an air to ground attack training exercise which caused damage to the mainplanes. Despite the damage the pilot went on to land normally at Leconfield airfield. Which nationality this pilot was is not known.
