On 23rd February 1954 this aircraft received a Cat.4 damage assessment made against it but how the damage occurred is not yet known. The aircraft was on the books with No.203 Advanced Flying School at the time which was based at Driffield. The damage was later re-assessed and upgraded to Re-Cat.5 which saw it struck off charge on 7th May 1954.
