This aircraft had a Cat.4R damage assessment made against it on 26th April 1954. At the time it was on charge with No.203 Advanced Flying School and was based at Driffield. What caused the damage assessment to be made is not known and it probably was made at Driffield where it was based. On 22nd May 1954 the damage had been reassessed and was upgraded to Re-Cat.5(c) and it was struck off charge.
