I have no source records or information concerning this incident and my data shown here comes purely from a list of incidents pass to me. Stated as being on 15th October 1954 this Anson undershot a landing at Rufforth airfield and was damaged. The aircraft does not appear to have been badly damaged as it was not struck off charge. On paper the aircraft was on charge with 224 Squadron but as they were based at Gibraltar this seems highly unlikely. As a result I require some proper information.
