The aircraft is listed in No.60 Maintenance Unit's record book as being made servicable on site during the month of March 1954. What caused any damage assessment to be made and when this occurred are not known. At the time this aircraft was on charge with 275 Squadron and was based at Linton on Ouse. Their records do mention an Anson being flown by them in the months prior to this date.
