The aircraft is listed in No.60 Maintenance Unit's record book as being servicable at Dishforth during January 1955. What made it unservicable, when this occurred, or whether any damage was down to a flying incident, are not known. One assumes it was in late-1954. At the time this aircraft was on charge with No.242 Operational Conversion Unit and was based at Dishforth.
