On 26th October 1953 this 215 Advanced Flying School aircraft suffered the starboard undercarriage leg being jammed in the retracted position prior to making a landing at Finningley airfield. The pilot went on to make a belly landing on the airfield. It was found that the up-lock operating rod had detached.
