The aircraft is listed in No.60 Maintenance Unit's record book as being made servicable on site during the month of February 1954. What caused the damage assessment to be made and when this occurred are not known. At the time this aircraft was on charge with 264 Squadron and was based at Linton on Ouse. Presumably the initial damage assessment was made in late-1953.
