On 9th April 1953 this No.203 Advanced Flying School aircraft landed at Driffield airfield but struck Meteor VT240 that was waiting to take off. Both aircraft came locked together and skidded down the runway for a short distance. WL413 appears to have been repaired after this incident.
The aircraft was repaired on site by 60 MU and while the 203 AFS orb mentions an accident to WL413 on 10th June 1953 this is probably an erronous entry and should read WL362. Meteor WL362 crashed near Rudston after the crew baled out on 10th June 1953 but is not listed as having any investigation held (which surely there must have been one).
60 MU listed WL413 as being "AIS Cleared" in their record book in July 1953 at Driffield (made servicable).
