The No.60 Maintenance Unit record book lists all the aeroplanes that they were tasked with making servicable in 1953. For this aircraft it states that it was servicable during the month of June 1953 at Full Sutton. It was presumably assessed as damaged there a few months prior to this. On paper, at the time of a damage assessment it appears to have been on charge with No.210 Advanced Flying School and based at Tarrant Rushton. It may have been visiting Full Sutton when it was assessed as unservicable or more likely assessed on landing at Full Sutton prior to transfer to No.207 Advanced Flying School but was found to be unservicable. Several other aircraft were transferred from 210 AFS to 207 AFS around the end of 1952 so this would seem plausable. What caused the assessment to be made is not known.
